Br Nath Pai Memorial
The first such memorial and community centre built in Vengurla, his birthplace, this centre offers a library and reading hall and an indoor and outdoor space for educational, social and cultural activities.
Here, we organize lectures by speakers on various topics, legal aid camps, mental wellness sessions, physiotherapy camps and career counselling workshops.
The Br Nath Pai Memorial will be run as a resource centre for budding entrepreneurs and will conduct the various activities of the Nath Pai Foundation in Vengurla.
Healthcare
In collaboration with the Barrister Nath Pai Shikshan Sanstha, Kudal, our Foundation is focused on providing healthcare to every member of Sindhudurg and offer education to healthcare providers.
Mental Wellness—with student suicides, stress, violence and depression on the rise, we conduct mental wellness workshops in collaboration with the Maharashtra Education Society, Pune’s psychologists.
Physiotherapy – Sessions conducted by the Br Nath Pai Shikshan Sanstha’s College of Physiotherapy
Medical checks – We collaborate with hospitals such as Manipal Hospital, Goa, to conduct general checks and cardiac health camps
Education
With our belief that education extends beyond the classroom curriculum, the Foundation organizes lectures by experts from various fields that offers people a lifelong learning experience. We recently had an elephant whisperer talk about environment and man-animal conflict and ways of reducing it.
POSH, POCSO Camps – To increase the safety of women and children and make them aware of their rights, we conduct workshops to inform people of the provisions of certain laws.
Career Counselling – In collaboration with counsellors of the Maharashtra Education Society.
Entrepreneurship Programme
We run a mentor-mentee programme under which aspiring entrepreneurs are paired with senior professionals from their chosen field and receive guidance in vetting a business idea, securing funding and running their business.
